I am J.Mydle. An artist all around. I’m inspired to write to anything that sounds and feels right to me. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, and of Haitian decent, my journey’s brought me to Denver. I’m willing to go as far as the music is able to reach. From both solo works and the collaborative journey of working with others, there’s no telling. I think felt how much I wanted to do this, was the first time I went into an actual studio session. I heard the music mixed and mastered. My 1st track! That feeling is unforgettable.

I’m a Denver native and been making Hip-Hop music for almost 30 years. I’m one of the original members of the Insomniaks and we have over 20 years of music together. I have always strived to elevate and master my craft and at 42 years old my passion and hunger is greater than ever. My goal for 2021 is to create a better on line presence and release some classic tracks.

Big Dirty Cotton is a Scrub Hop supergroup consisting of Big Trox, JDirty, and Troxy Cotton. Beginning their path in Denver, Big Trox and JDirty have been making music together since 2009, performing hundreds of shows in the Denver area for the better part of the decade. After Big Trox and brother Troxy Cotton moved to Seattle several years ago, the boys decided to join forces and create “Big Dirty Cotton”. Their debut album, “All Three Inputs” debuted in 2020 and they’ve only just begun!

A true Colorado native, Lady Los intends to use her music as the vehicle which allows her to see the world, expand her business, incite new and exciting friendships and bring joy to many. She’s been writing songs since she was 12 years old and now grows through her constant attempts to outdo her previous self/creations.

Where are you headed and what is your vision for the future? I intend for music to be the vehicle that allows me to see the world, expand my business, and provide my husband and I our own land, as well as an industry quality studio at home. I see it connecting me with new close friendships as well as strengthening and intensifying my current friendships.

Describe the moment you knew you wanted to take your musical passion to the top. I knew I was going to be an artist because I have been writing songs since I was 12 years old. I love singing and the therapy/joy it provides. The moment I knew I wanted to be serious with music was after I graduated from college and completed my basketball career. I joined a local band, started recording solo songs, and, just put myself out there. Previous to this you would catch me releasing a Facebook post or two critiquing popular music. Instead of yapping my jaws critiquing, I tried creating, and I discovered how challenging, but fun it was to create something I loved and felt a sense of accomplishment from. I didn’t want to stop and just kept building. That’s when I knew I loved doing that more than anything else. Everyday is exciting. When feeling competitive, I’m just trying to outdo my previous self/creations. Otherwise I’m simply just adding to my creations in untamed love and joy.

Describe the moment you knew you wanted to take your musical passion to the top. It really got serious for us when one of our mentors started introducing us to the more professional side of the industry. When our very first song that was professionally produced reached 15K streams we knew we wanted to take this thing to the very top.

DJKAAOS has very recently taken a more serious interest in producing his own music instead of solely DJing already produced tunes. His music is very cinematic in sound with little to no vocals. His vision is to create music for film projects large and small in conjunction with stage worthy creations as well.

I am better known as the super rad party rock DJ, DJKAAOS. But recently, over the past year, I have taken a serious interest in producing my own music.

Where are you headed and what is your vision for the future? My vision is more music, less vocals, so when I build a beat, I like to introduce something new every 4th bar whether it be a subtle or dramatic addition to the project in my efforts to keep the song interesting since I do not have vocals in my music. My music is very cinematic in sound no matter what I do to try to change things up, my projects always go in the cinematic direction. My vision is to make music for film projects big enough for the concert stage as well.

Describe the moment you knew you wanted to take your musical passion to the top. The moment I made my first beat on my AKAI MPC 2000xl was the very moment I knew that I wanted to take this thing seriously; sometime more seriously than DJing…

JAZ is a musician, producer and DJ based in Denver and has recently begun making a name for himself as an influential creative force. Jay Rydel is an American singer/songwriter and producer born in Atlanta, but now residing in Denver as a freelance musician. From years of writing, performing, and producing Jay has learned that real success comes from throwing out all the backup plans.
